STOCK ALERT: Religare, Fortis Healthcare slump up to 11% on promoter entity woes

Shares of Religare Enterprises -4.99 % and Fortis HealthcareBSE -7.06 % plunged up to 11 per cent in Monday’s trade after rating agency India Ratings downgraded RHC Holding’s NCDs to default. 

RHC Holding, along with Oscar Investments 2.24 %, jointly owns the two companies. 

Following the development, shares of Fortis Healthcare slumped 11.35 per cent to hit a low of Rs 144.40 on BSE. Religare Enterprises dropped 8.57 per cent to hit a low of 107.15.
